For instance, it can create an outline for articles, write full paragraphs, and even edit user-generated content to enhance its quality and readability.
Applications using this technology can perform a multitude of tasks. They can generate images based on text prompts, produce high-resolution videos, alter voices to match a particular character, and so much more. This versatility and adaptability make Generative AI stand out in the technology landscape.
While it’s true that this technology is still in its early stages, it is evolving and improving at a rapid pace, thanks to the hard work of researchers and developers everywhere. The potential benefits that Generative AI can bring to society are immense, ranging from streamlining workflows in various industries to potentially revolutionizing the way we interact with digital media.
However, like all new technology, there are challenges and obstacles to overcome. It’s our responsibility, as content creators, to ensure that the quality and accuracy of our articles aren’t compromised in the process of leveraging these technological advancements. This responsibility is extremely important, as it is our duty to inform and educate our readers with the most accurate and relevant information.
Original Thoughts and Editing
When I write articles for this website, I use generative AI tools, primarily Notion AI. My process begins with in-depth research on the chosen topic. This research gives me a holistic understanding of the subject I am writing about and ensures that I present a complete overview of the topic.
Following the research phase, I proceed to structure an outline for the article. This outline serves as a map, guiding the flow and organization of the content. The next step in my process is to draft sentences for each of the paragraphs in the content.
After the outlining phase, I introduce Notion AI into the process. This tool helps improve the writing, taking it from a raw draft to a more polished version. Notion AI revisits each sentence, making improvements to grammar and word choice, without altering the original meaning of the sentence.
After the AI has done its magic, I selectively incorporate the improvements suggested by Notion AI, refining the output and ensuring that it meets the high standards I set for my work. This process allows me to create high-quality, refined content that effectively communicates the intended message to the reader.
Disclosing and Understanding
Ethically, I believe it’s important to disclose that I’m using an AI tool to assist with my writing. While I could produce quality content independently, it would require significantly more time. In my view, tools are designed to aid us, but I prefer not to rely on them unless I have a solid understanding of their mechanics. Currently, I’m earning a certificate from DeepLearning.AI & Amazon Web Services through Coursera to understand Language Model Machines (LLMs) and their applications for enhancing productivity.
